Stephen Hawking will be speaking at a televised NASA lecture celebrating NASA’s 50th anniversary, part of a series of events. His lecture is titled, “Why We Should Go Into Space” and can be seen live on NASA tv on April 21. The tv link is below.

The lecture will be at George Washington University in their Morton Auditorium at 3 p.m. Eastern, 2 p.m. Central. Don’t try to show up in person unless you have an invitation, unless you can prove you are a reporter.

I think we all have a pretty good idea of why we should into space. However, anything Professor Hawking says is interesting and often newsworthy as well.
