I was a big fan of Carl Sagan, and what got me about people like Carl & certain other scientists, is that they don't believe in God because science can't prove he exists. Yet, science can't prove that life exists anywhere else than on Earth. Yet they all believe life exists "out there." Carl used the Drake equation to back up his belief. Even then, out of hundreds of billions of stars, it yielded only a small estimate of planets with life. Mars may have a good possibility of life, but nothing's been proved yet. I've been thinking of doing a post on the Drake equation, perhaps soon. I don’t think we know that yet. There is some microbial life about 50 to 200 feet below the Martian surface, and if there is LIFE on MARS, and cetainly on Earth, LIFE in the UNIVERSE is guaranteed. Life in the Universe is as common as rain drops in a thunder storm "back on Earth". Human Beings, from Earth, MUST go to Mars. First as explorers, then terra-formers, then farmers, businessmen, taxing bureaucrats, and all other forms of Humans-turned- Martians. With God's Help, we WILL make Mars our "second Earth".
